NEIGHBOURS SIGNS 2-YEAR EXTENSION WITH BLUES

Jake Neighbours, forward
The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Jake Neighbours to a two-year, $7.5 million contract extension worth an annual average value of $3.75 million.
Neighbours, 22, was originally drafted 26th overall by the Blues in the 2020 NHL Draft.
A former captain and Western Hockey League champion with the Edmonton Oil Kings, Neighbours has totaled 53 points (36 goals, 17 assists) and 51 penalty minutes in 135 regular-season games through his first four seasons with the Blues.
Last season, the Calgary native was tied for second on the team with a career-high 27 goals while he also shared the lead in powerplay goals (8), shared third in game-winning goals (4), and ranked fourth in hits (138).
