HABS JOKE ABOUT THEIR PLAYOFF CHANCES
WHAT WAS ALL THAT ‘ONE IN A MILLION TALK’…
Before the NHL paused its season back in March, the Montreal Canadiens had less than a one percent chance of climbing up the standings and making the playoffs.
After the NHLPA and NHL finalized the 24-team return to play format, putting the Canadiens in a best-of-five play-in series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team poked a bit of fun at themselves on Twitter and Instagram.
24 est notre chiffre chanceux! 🙃

We like their sense of humour.
It would certainly be a wild ride if the Habs make it into the official playoffs and beat the Penguins… it would be even wilder if they went on a crazy playoff run. Buuuuttt, we’re not betting on it.
The Canadiens had a good start to the 2019-20 regular-season, with a healthy roster and a rested Carey Price. We supposed we won’t count them out just yet.
Who knows, come July, maybe there will be a lot of one-in-a-million talk.
