MCDAVID, OILERS FINALIZING CONTRACT EXTENSION

The Edmonton Oilers and captain Connor McDavid are putting the finishing touches on a multi-year contract extension, sources have confirmed to TFP.

As TSN’s Ryan Rishaug reported, “things are moving this morning” towards an extension between the Oilers and the 28-year-old superstar.

Terms of the anticipated extension are not yet known.

McDavid, who led the Oilers to back-to-back Stanley Cup Final appearances, registered 26 goals and 74 assists for 100 points in 67 games with the Oilers last season.
