BLACKHAWKS SIGN DEFENCEMAN GRZELCYK

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed free agent defenceman Matt Grzelcyk to a one-year, $1 million contract.
Grzelcyk, 31, had been attending Chicago's training camp on a professional tryout contract and earned himself a full ride with the club.
In 82 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season, Grzelcyk registered one goal and 39 assists for 40 points.
Over 527 career NHL regular-season games with the Boston Bruins and Penguins, Grzecyk has accumulated 26 goals and 149 assists for 175 points, and 253 penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Bruins in the third-round, 85th overall, of the 2012 NHL Draft.
