JETS SIGN LOWRY TO $25M EXTENSION

The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with captain Adam Lowry on a five-year, $25 million contract extension.

Lowry, 32, is in his 12th NHL season, all with the Jets, and has served as team captain since 2023-24. He has collected one goal and two assists in seven games so far this season.

Drafted by Winnipeg in the third-round pick (67th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, Lowry has accumulated 122 goals and 154 assists for 276 points, and 420 penalty minutes in 782 career NHL games.

He set new career highs for goals (16), game winning goals (4), and plus/minus (+18) in 2024-25, while also recording 18 assists for 34 points in 73 games.
