PROVOROV INKS 7-YEAR DEAL WITH BLUE JACKETS

The Columbus Blue Jackets have agreed to terms with defenceman Ivan Provorov on a seven-year, $59.5 million contract.

The deal gives Provorov an average annual value of $8.5 million.

In 82 games with the Blue Jackets this past season, Provorov registered seven goals and 26 assists for 33 points.
