PREDATORS ACQUIRE HAGUE FROM VEGAS

The Nashville Predators have acquired defenceman Nicolas Hague from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for defenceman Jeremy Lauzon and forward Colton Sissons.

The Predators have then signed Hague to a four-year, $22 million contract.

Hague, 25, picked up five goals and seven assists for 12 points, along with 40 penalty minutes, in 68 games with Vegas this past season.

In 364 career NHL regular-season games, all with the Golden Knights, Hague has accumulated 20 goals and 63 assists for 83 points, and 235 penalty minutes.

The Stanley Cup champion was drafted by Vegas in the second-round of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Sissons, 31, tallied seven goals and 14 assists for 21 points in 72 games with Nashville in 2024-25.

The native of North Vancouver has played in 690 career NHL regular-season games, all with Nashville, and has registered 95 goals and 126 assists for 221 points.

He was drafted by the Predators in the second-round of the 2012 NHL Draft.

Lauzon had one assist and 37 penalty minutes in 28 games with Nashville this past season.

Over 316 career NHL regular-season games with the Boston Bruins, Seattle Kraken and Predators, Lauzon has picked up 14 goals and 31 assists for 45 points, and 353 penalty minutes.

The 28-year-old was drafted by the Bruins in the second-round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
