CANADIENS ACQUIRE DOBSON FROM ISLANDERS

The Montreal Canadiens have acquired defenceman Noah Dobson from the New York Islanders in exchange for forward Emil Heineman, the 16th overall pick and the 17th overall pick in the NHL Draft.
The Habs have also signed Dobson to an eight-year, $76 million contract.
Dobson, who ranked No.1 on the TFP Summer Trade Watch List, collected 10 goals and 29 assists for 39 points in 71 games this past season.
