OILERS SIGN MANGIAPANE TO 2-YEAR DEAL

The Edmonton Oilers have signed unrestricted free agent forward Andrew Mangiapane to a two-year, $7.2 million contract.
The deal includes a full no-trade clause in the first year, and a five-team trade list in the second year.
Mangiapane, 29, dressed in 81 regular season games for the Washington Capitals in 2024-25 recording 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points with 24 penalty minutes.
A veteran of 498 NHL games, the Toronto native spent seven seasons with the Calgary Flames (417 GP, 109-106-215, +52) where he was originally drafted in 2015 (sixth round, 166 overall).
In 498 career NHL regular-season games with the Flames and Capitals, Mangiapane has accumulated 123 goals and 120 assists for 243 points and 205 penalty minutes.
