The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired defenceman K’Andre Miller in a sign-and-trade with the New York Rangers in exchange for defenceman Scott Morrow, a 2026 conditional first-round pick and a 2026 second-round pick.

Prior to the trade, Miller signed an eight-year, $60 million contract.

According to TFP’s David Pagnotta, Miller’s deal includes a modified no-trade clause, starting in the third year of Miller’s contract.

In 74 games with the Rangers this past season, the 25-year-old registered seven goals and 20 assists for 27 points.

Morrow, 22, is in the final year of his entry-level contract.

He scored one goal and added five assists in 14 games with the Hurricanes in 2024-25.
