SAAD SIGNS WITH GOLDEN KNIGHTS

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed forward Brandon Saad to a one-year, pro-rated $1.5 million contract for the remainder of the 2024-25 NHL season.

Saad, 32, has appeared in 906 NHL games in his career, most recently with the St. Louis Blues where he signed as a free agent ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Pittsburgh native has collected a total of 260 goals and 255 assists for 515 points across 13 seasons, to date, spent in St. Louis, Colorado, Columbus, and Chicago.

Saad, a two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015, registered seven goals and nine assists for 16 points in 43 games with the Blues this season.

Chicago drafted Saad in the second-round (43rd overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
