KINGS REMAIN INTERESTED IN HUTTON
Ben Hutton, defenceman
The Los Angeles Kings are among the teams interested in unrestricted free agent defenceman Ben Hutton, multiple sources have told TFP.
TFP Sr. Writer Dennis Bernstein reported last week the Kings remain in the mix, the 26-year-old blueliner, who was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the fifth-round of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Hutton’s camp has received plenty of interest over the summer and a decision could be coming prior to the start of training camps.
Kings GM Rob Blake shied away from commenting on the possibility of signing Hutton when asked during the organization’s state of the franchise panel with season ticket holders on Friday.
