PANTHERS IN MARKET FOR FORWARD
Jonathan Huberdeau and the Panthers
Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon is scouring the market for help up front, as he and his staff are searching for a top-six forward to add to their roster.
The Panthers have been actively looking for a goal-scoring forward, but it's unclear if they are inching closer to a trade.
Tallon has plenty of salary cap space to work with -- the club has just under $9 million in current cap space -- if he were to add a player with significant dollars left on his contract.
A number of teams, including the Panthers, have reportedly inquired about Buffalo Sabres left wing Evander Kane, though a trade is not believed to be imminent.
