SHARKS TRADE HERTL TO GOLDEN KNIGHTS

Tomas Hertl, forward

The San Jose Sharks have traded forward Tomas Hertl, a 2025 third-round draft pick and a 2027 third-round pick to the Vegas for centre David Edstrom and a 2025 first-round draft pick.

TFP’s David Pagnotta was first to report the Knights were making another major trade ahead of the deadline, and later revealed on NHL Network they were acquiring Hertl.

San Jose is also retaining a portion of Hertl’s contract.
