DUCKS ACQUIRE DEL ZOTTO FROM CANUCKS

The Anaheim Ducks have acquired defenceman Michael Del Zotto from the Vancouver Canucks for defenceman Luke Schenn and a 2020 seventh-round draft pick.

Del Zotto, 28, registered one goal and three assists in 23 games with the Canucks this season.

In 589 career NHL regular-season games with the New York Rangers, Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers and Canucks, Del Zotto has accumulated 54 goals and 161 assists for 215 points.

He was originally drafted 20th overall by the Rangers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Schenn, 29, went pointless in eight games with the Ducks this season.

In 716 career NHL regular-season games, Schenn has accumulated 30 goals and 113 assists for 143 points. He will be assigned to the Canucks’ AHL affiliate in Utica.
