Nikolay Goldobin, left wing

The Vancouver Canucks are actively looking to trade defenceman Michael Del Zotto and left wing Nikolay Goldobin, multiple sources have told TFP.

Both players are in the final year of their respective contracts, though the 28-year-old Del Zotto is set to become an unrestricted free agent July 1, while Goldobin, 23, can become a restricted free agent.

Del Zotto, who comes with a $3 million salary cap hit, has seem a lot of action lately in the press box, as he appears to have fallen out of favour on Vancouver’s blueline.

In 23 games with the Canucks so far this season, Del Zotto has registered one goal and three assists for four points, with eight penalty minutes.

Goldobin, who has an $863,333 million cap hit, has bounced around the lineup for most of the season, so far. In 41 games, he’s picked up five goals and 18 assists for 23 points.
