STARS ACQUIRE ZUCCARELLO FROM RANGERS

The Dallas Stars have acquired right wing Mats Zuccarello from the New York Rangers in exchange for a 2019 conditional second-round draft pick and a 2020 conditional third-round draft pick.

If the Stars advance to the Western Conference Final of the 2019 NHL Playoffs, the 2019 second-round pick will become a first-round selection, and if Zuccarello re-signs with the Stars, the 2020 third-round selection will become a 2020 first-round pick.

The Rangers have also retained 30% of Zuccarello’s remaining contract.

Zuccarello, 32, collected 11 goals and 26 assists for 37 points in 46 games with the Rangers this season.

In 509 career NHL regular-season games, all with the Rangers, the native of Oslo, Norway, has accumulated 113 goals and 239 assists for 352 points.
