The New York Rangers traded right wing Mats Zuccarello to the Dallas Stars on Saturday, and more moves are expected before Monday’s 3pm ET trade deadline.

Rangers forwards Kevin Hayes, Chris Kreider, Ryan Strome and Vladislav Namestnikov, and defencemen Adam McQuaid and Brendan Smith are among those being discussed league-wide.

Hayes and McQuaid are almost certain to be dealt, with multiple teams interested in each of them, while there’s a solid chance others on the team are moved, as well.

“I try not to think about it,” Kreider told the New York Post. “It’s nothing that I can control.”

The Winnipeg Jets, Calgary Flames and Boston Bruins are interested in Hayes, while the Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs are among those eyeing Kreider.

It’s believed the Maple Leafs, Tampa Bay Lightning and Columbus Blue Jackets have interest in McQuaid.

“We’re not unique going through this,” said Kreider. “If you’re a Cup contender, you’re trading guys. If you’re in our situation, you’re trading guys. That’s what happens when there’s a cap. It’s part of the business. We all know that.”
