FLYERS ACQUIRE TALBOT FROM OILERS

The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired goaltender Cam Talbot from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for goaltender Anthony Stolarz.

Talbot, 31, appeared in 31 games this season for the Oilers, posting a 10-15-3 record with a 3.36 goals-against average and .893 save percentage.

Over parts of six seasons in the NHL, Talbot has an overall record of 137-110-24 with 20 shutouts and a lifetime .915 save percentage and 2.59 goals-against average, to date.

Talbot sat at No.11 on TFP’s Top 30 Trade Watch List.

Stolarz spent seven seasons in the Flyers’ organization after he was selected by the team in the second-round (45th overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

He spent parts of two season with the Flyers, posting a 6-4-4 record with a 2.86 GAA and .911 save percentage in 19 appearances. He spent an additional five seasons with the club's AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
