RANGERS TRADE GRABNER TO DEVILS

The New Jersey Devils have acquired winger Michael Grabner from the New York Rangers in exchange for a 2018 second-round draft pick and defenceman Yegor Rykov.

Grabner, 30, picked up 25 goals and six assists for 31 points in 59 games with the Rangers this season.

In 532 career NHL regular-season games with the Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Islanders and Vancouver Canucks, Grabner has accumulated 156 goals and 88 assists for 244 points, along with 92 penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted 14th overall by the Canucks in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Rykov, 20, is playing for SKA St. Petersburg in the KHL, where he has collected two goals and 12 assists for 14 points in 51 games this season.

Grabner was ranked No.10 on TFP's Top 30 Available Players List.
