JETS ACQUIRE STASTNY FROM BLUES

The Winnipeg Jets have acquired centre Paul Stastny from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a 2018 conditional first-round draft pick, a 2020 conditional fourth-round pick and forward Erik Foley.

The Blues are also retaining 50 percent of Stastny’s contract.

Stastny, 32, dressed in 63 games for the Blues this season, posting 12 goals and 28 assists for 40 points and 14 penalty minutes.

The 12-year NHL veteran has accumulated 216 goals and 417 assists for 633 points in 805 career NHL regular-season games, to date, with the Colorado Avalanche and Blues.

Foley, 20, was drafted 78th overall by the Jets in 2015. He dressed in 32 games for Providence College this season, posting 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) and 14 penalty minutes.
