HAWKS ASK ANISIMOV TO WAIVE NO-MOVE CLAUSE

The Chicago Blackhawks are looking to retool for next season and are entertaining calls for forward Artem Anisimov.
Anisimov, who has three-years left on his contract beyond this season and comes with a $4.55 million salary cap hit, has been approached by Chicago about waiving his no-movement clause, according to Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times, and the belief is he’s willing to do so for the right team, two league sources told TFP.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are among the teams believed to have interest in Anisimov, but Lazerus reports they’ve only offered a third-round draft pick and that clearly won’t get a deal done.
Several teams are interested in adding a player of Anisimov’s caliber, who can play centre and the left wing.
The Winnipeg Jets, Calgary Flames and New Jersey Devils are among the teams that may be interested in Anisimov.
Meanwhile, Chicago is also taking trade calls on right wing Ryan Hartman, who can become a restricted free agent July 1.
