The 2006 IIHF World Junior
Hockey Championship will be on display for 11 days starting December 26,
2005.
Preliminary rounds are to be played in Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops,
as the world's best junior hockey players battle
for the right to call themselves champions.
The
under-20 tournament will begin on December 26, 2005 with the reigning champion
Team Canada hosting Finland at the Pacific Coliseum. General Motors Place will host the medal round games with the Gold Medal Game being played on Thursday, January 5, 2006.
