The 2006 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship will be on display for 11 days starting December 26, 2005.

Preliminary rounds are to be played in Vancouver, Kelowna and Kamloops, as the world's best junior hockey players
battle for the right to call themselves champions.

The under-20 tournament will begin on December 26, 2005 with the reigning champion Team Canada hosting Finland at the Pacific Coliseum. General Motors Place will host the medal round games with the Gold Medal Game being played on Thursday, January 5, 2006.

Games to be hosted in Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum and GM Place sold out in May, 2005.
