Three teams in the World Hockey Association will soon have their management in place, reports TFP's David Pagnotta.
On Thursday, July 8, 2004, WHA Commissioner Bobby Hull will be joined by Halifax owners John Marshall and Gino Naldini, and WHA Director of Hockey Operations Peter Young, for the unveiling of the Halifax Team Name and Logo at the Trade Centre in Halifax.
The following week, the Toronto Toros will present their Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations at a media conference in Toronto.
According to reports a few weeks ago, former NHL Coach of the Year Ted Nolan was the front-runner for the Toros' bench boss position. Young, who will staff the Toronto team, declined to comment.
Dallas is also expected to name its Hockey Operations staff in two weeks.
