Jamie McGinn, LW 2016 conditional 3rd round draft pick
3:30pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Tampa Bay Lightning
Devante Smith-Pelly, RW Stefan Matteau, LW

Instant Analysis: Not a bad trade of a couple younger players. Call this one a draw.

3:12pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Lee Stempniak, RW 2017 2nd round draft pick
2016 4th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Fantastic pickup for Boston and you really have to wonder why the Devils would let him go while they're still in the playoff hunt. Stempniak will hopefully get a well-deserved long-term contract out of all this.

3:10pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Conor Allen, D Michael Keranen, LW

Instant Analysis: This one was another AHL deal. Keranen has done well in Europe in the past so there's opportunity while Allen has no points in seven games.

3:10pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Shane Prince, LW
2016 7th round draft pick
2016 3rd round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Not a bad pickup at all for the Isles. Near-hometown boy who had one point in a two-game audition with the Sens this year. He'll start in the A but don't be surprised if he gets some time once the playoff fate of the Islanders is decided.

3:01pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
John-Michael Liles, D Anthony Camara, LW
2016 3rd round draft pick
2017 5th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Liles is certainly serviceable as a defenceman who can contribute offensively as well. Camara has yet to debut in the NHL so expect him to report to the AHL right away.

2:17pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Brandon Pirri, C 2016 6th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Pirri's stock overall is rising. He won't hit 20 goals this year like he did in 2014-15, but long term he's a great acquisition for Anaheim.

1:37pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Eric Gelinas, D 2016 3rd round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Gelinas is a strong, developing prospect in the defence-minded system in Jersey. He will be missed on the Devils blue line and will build into a top two defender, no question. Great steal for Colorado... almost makes up for the bad Boedker swap.

1:35pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Kris Russell, D Jyrki Jokipakka, D
Brett Pollock, LW
Conditional 2nd round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Excellent move both ways. Russell is a great character player on the ice and in the locker room, while Calgary's youth movement continues fantastically. A lot of teams will be regretting not getting in on this trade.

1:09pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Mikkel Boedker, RW Alex Tanguay, LW
Conner Bleackley, C
Kyle Wood, D

Instant Analysis: A bit surprised that Arizona traded within their division given that they aren't completely out of the playoff race. Boedker is one of the players who gets more hype at deadline than he's actually worth. He has yet to register 20 goals and only gone over 50 points once. Tanguay brings more leadership to Arizona and may be there past Shane Doan's retirement, while Bleackley has done consistently well in the W and Wood has upside as well. Bad trade for the Avs.

12:50pm ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Drew MacIntyre, G Dennis Robertson, D

Instant Analysis: Strictly a move of AHL'ers, but you never know what will happen.

9:28am ET // February 29, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Tampa Bay Lightning
Sergei Plotnikov, LW Matthias Plachta, LW
2017 conditional 7th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: In 32 games in Pittsburgh, Plotnikov had two assists, a pace far from the promise he showed in the KHL but he has some depth potential.

11:35pm ET // February 28, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Tampa Bay Lightning
Daniel Winnik, C/RW
2016 5th round draft pick
Brooks Laich, C
Connor Carrick, D
2016 2nd round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Nice pick up for the Caps in Winnik who gives them some added depth on the third or fourth line going into the playoffs. Laich will be interesting to watch in Toronto and could land nicely there. Carrick will get a look - a game or two before season's end - but that's it.

10:00pm ET // February 28, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers
Ryan Bourque, LW Chris Brown, RW

Instant Analysis: Where are all these Bourques coming from? Are they all in Washington's system now? Seriously now, Bourque has one NHL game under his belt while Brown has a bit more. Overall it's an even trade.

9:10pm ET // February 28, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Kris Versteeg, RW Valentin Zykov, RW
2016 conditional 5th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: How did Chicago not pick up Versteeg? They go together like pepperoni and deep dish! The Kings get a boatload of playoff experience and leadership while selling off a piece of their future. Zykov hasn't shattered record books in his inaugural pro season, but he's a good candidate to be a second-liner for the future of the 'Canes. The fifth-round pick also becomes draft day tradebait.

1:36pm ET // February 28, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers
Eric Staal, C Aleksi Saarela, C
2016 2nd round draft pick
2017 2nd round draft pick
Retain 50% of Staal's contract

Instant Analysis: New York Rangers win, but it's a cautionary win. Staal's production is off this year, but the new scenery - and a different brother - may be the cure for what ails him. The 'Canes aren't horrible when it comes to developing from within, so those two picks could stand to be very valuable.

9:35pm ET // February 27, 2016
Tampa Bay Lightning Philadelphia Flyers
Alexander Guptill, LW
Eric O'Dell, C
Cole Schneider, LW
Michael Sdao, D
Jason Akeson, RW
Phil Varone, C
Jerome Leduc, D
Conditional draft pick

Instant Analysis: Buffalo Sabres win, namely because of O'Dell. Admittedly there's a biasy here, but O'Dell has a tremendous upside and never got the chance he deserved in Winnipeg or Ottawa. Schneider has some good potential as well, and with a weak Sabres lineup, don't be surprised if both players get 8 or 10 game stints in the NHL before season's end.

5:53pm ET // February 27, 2016
Tampa Bay Lightning Philadelphia Flyers
Justin Schultz, D 2016 3rd round draft pick
Retain 50% of Schultz's contract

Instant Analysis: Penguins win, but more specifically Schultz, who despite all his hype could not get his engines really going in Edmonton. Though Pittsburgh seemingly isn't the team they once were, there's room for Schultz to break out playing with Malkin and Crosby.

3:55pm ET // February 27, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Jakub Kindl, D 2017 6th round draft pick
Retain 15% of Kindl's contract

Instant Analysis: The Panthers get a serviceable body in Kindl as long as he can stay healthy, which has proven to be a challenge the last few years. The Red Wings probably could've got a higher pick, but they've been known to pull in some greats in later rounds.

3:45pm ET // February 27, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Teddy Purcell, LW 2016 3rd round draft pick

Instant Analysis: The Panthers have picked up a stud recruit in Purcell who is rebounding from an off year last season. The hope is that Purcell will not just be a rental player and will sign on for a long-term run with the Panthers, but he could just as easily hit the free agent wire come July.

3:03pm ET // February 27, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Jiri Hudler, C/RW 2016 2nd round draft pick
2018 4th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: Who won this one? Certainly not the Flames, who could have held out for a first-round pick for Hudler. Like Purcell, Hudler certainly is worthy of a long-term contract in Florida. Should the Panthers not re-sign Brian Campbell, he'd be a lock for the team.

2:10pm ET // February 27, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Tampa Bay Lightning
James Reimer, G
Jeremy Morin, RW
Alex Stalock, G
Ben Smith, RW
2018 conditional 4th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: The easy analysis would be to say that the Sharks came out on top in this swap as get a dependable backup if not a 1a goalie in Reimer to accompany Martin Jones in net, but I'm not so sure he'll want to stay with the Sharks past this season. Stalock and Smith are both UFAs, but if they can be signed cheap and be given a true chance, the Leafs could, long-term, be the winners.

12:30am ET // February 27, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Anders Nilsson, G Niklas Lundstrom, G
2016 5th round draft pick

Instant Analysis: The Blues will give Nilsson a better shot in the NHL than the Oilers or Islanders did. He's NHL ready as a backup to Jake Allen while Brian Elliott recovers from injury, and don't be surprised if he gets a one year contract at season's end.

9:40pm ET // February 26, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Tampa Bay Lightning
Dale Weise, RW
Tomas Fleischmann, RW/LW
Phillip Danault, C
2018 2nd round draft pick
Retain 30% of Weise's contract
3:15pm ET // February 26, 2016
Philadelphia Flyers Philadelphia Flyers
Rob Scuderi, D
Retain 15% of Ehrhoff's contract

Andrew Ladd, LW
Jay Harrison, D

2016 1st round draft pick
2018 conditional 3rd round draft pick
Retain 36% of Ladd's contract

Philip Larsen, D 2017 5th round draft pick
6:31pm ET // February 23, 2016
