are likely to occur in Toronto.
McPhee, Oates done in Washington? (Apr. 14/14)
- The Washington Capitals will be making a significant change to
the organization as early as Monday afternoon, as it appears
both GM George McPhee and head coach Adam Oates will not return
Maurice, Jets to discuss future (Apr.
11/14) - Winnipeg head coach Paul Maurice will spend some time
after the season ends to mull over his future, though the belief
is that he'd like to stay behind the Jets' bench.
Could the Predators trade Weber? (Apr. 9/14) -
With the season winding down and playoffs no longer in their
grasp, the Nashville Predators will be shifting their focus
towards retooling their roster for next season.
Ward likely moved this off-season (Apr. 7/14) -
The Carolina Hurricanes will be making a few changes this

- There have been plenty of rumors circling the Canucks lately,
most specifically about the future of head coach John Tortorella,
but GM Mike Gillis refuses to address them.
Bruins almost acquired Edler (Mar. 7/14) -
The Boston Bruins tried to complete another move on trade
deadline day this week for a player signed long-term, but the
deal fell through at the last minute.
Ducks pushed for Kesler (Mar. 6/14) -
The Anaheim Ducks were extremely interested in acquiring forward
Ryan Kesler from the Vancouver Canucks, but came up empty right
before the trade deadline.
Sharks tried to acquire Callahan (Mar. 6/14) -
If the New York Rangers weren't able to come to terms on a deal
with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday, the San Jose Sharks
were in prime position to acquire Ryan Callahan.
Avs still want defenseman (Mar. 4/14) -
The Colorado Avalanche is in the market for a veteran
defenseman, but don't expect them to go after a potential rental
player as the trade deadline quickly approaches.
Legwand still on trade block (Mar. 4/14) -
The Nashville Predators continue to field calls for veteran
center David Legwand, who will have to waive his no-trade clause
in order to facilitate a deal.

The Philadelphia Flyers have significant interest in Vancouver
Canucks forward Ryan Kesler and have offered a "significant

With the trade deadline around the corner, the Columbus Blue
Jackets consider themselves buyers, but they also appear set on
trading sniper Marian Gaborik.

Anaheim Ducks GM Bob Murray is involved in significant trade
discussions and appears willing to move some of his young assets
in order to acquire some top-tier talent.

Jaroslav Halak's time with the Buffalo Sabres will be short
lived, as he's expected to be shipped to another team before
Wednesday's 3pm ET trade deadline.

Callahan, but with the trade deadline creeping up, a decision,
one way or another, must soon be made.
