The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with restricted free agent forward Michael Frolik on a one-year, $3.3 million contract, avoiding arbitration.
Frolik, 26, played 81 games in his first season with the Winnipeg Jets last season, registering 15 goals and 27 assists for 42 points.
The native of Kladno, Czech Republic has played in 430 career NHL games between Florida, Chicago and Winnipeg, and has accumulated 76 goals and 117 assists for 193 career points, along with 137 penalty minutes.
Frolik was acquired by the Jets from the Chicago Blackhawks on June 30, 2013 in exchange for Winnipeg's third and fifth round picks in the 2013 NHL Draft.
He was originally drafted 10th overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
