The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed restricted free agent defenseman Zach Bogosian to a seven-year contract worth $36 million.

The deal includes a no-movement clause that kicks in years three through five of his deal, and a limited no-trade clause in the final two years of his contract.

Bogosian, who turned 23 on July 15, played in 33 games with the Winnipeg Jets last season, registering five goals and nine assists for 14 points, along with 29 penalty minutes.

The Massena, New York native has played in 297 career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg, and has accumulated 34 goals and 69 assists for 103 career points, and 237 penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the first round, third overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
