Nylander decision expected this week
TheFourthPeriod.com

It's becoming more and more evident that veteran center Michael Nylander will be spending the rest of the 2009-10 season overseas in the KHL.

Capitals GM George McPhee confirmed to TFP earlier today that Nylander is willing to play in Russia and a decision about his future will be determined with "a day or two."

It has been widely reported that McPhee has been trying to trade Nylander, however no talks took place during the general manager's meetings in Toronto this week.

"I haven't experienced any of that," McPhee said, of trade discussions with his counterparts. "I haven't had one discussion."

Nylander could sign with Dynamo Minsk this week after he's been given the green light to be loaned to the club.
