He's heard his name being tossed around the rumor mill, but Capitals center Michael Nylander doesn't plan on going anywhere, reports the Washington Post.

The Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils are among the teams supposedly interested in Nylander.

"I have a no move clause in my contract," he told the Post. "So it's really up to me if I want to move. I want to stay here and I'm looking forward to the season. There's lots of rumors about lots of players all the time."

Nylander acknowledged that he's happy in Washington and is excited to start the new season.

"It's a good situation," he said. "Last year was a big year for this team, and with the new confidence, we should be ready to go at the start."
