Trade talks between the Vancouver Canucks and several teams surrounding right wing Jannik Hansen are still lively, with the trade deadline now less than 24 hours away.
Hansen, 30, has one-year left on his deal after this season at a salary cap hit of $2.5 million, though he's making $3 million in actual salary this year and next.
He has submitted a list of eight teams he will accept a trade to, seven of whom are believed to current own a playoff spot, while the eighth team, according to sources, is the Winnipeg Jets.
However, the Jets are not believed to be engaged in trade talks with the Canucks about Hansen, at this point.
It's unclear which teams round out Hansen's list, at this stage, but the Montreal Canadiens are not believed to be one of them, according to TSN 1040's Matthew Sekeres.
In 28 games with the Canucks so far this season, Hansen has registered six goals and seven assists for 13 points and 27 penalty minutes.
