Hansen asked for list of teams he'd accept trade to, report

With the trade deadline one week away, the Vancouver Canucks may be inching closer to moving veteran forward Jannik Hansen.

According to TSN 1040 radio host Matthew Sekeres, the Canucks have requested Hansen submit his eight-team trade list.

Hansen, who has one-year left on his deal after this season, has a limited no-trade clause where he can list eight teams he will accept a trade to.

It has been widely reported that the Canucks are concerned about losing Hansen in the expansion draft, prompting trade speculation.

Hansen and fellow winger Alexandre Burrows have been the subject of trade rumors this month, and with the trade deadline seven days away, talks are expected to pick up steam.

It's not known which teams are on Hansen's list, and there are no guarantees the Canucks iron out a trade with one of those eight teams by the March 1 deadline.

In 27 games with the Canucks so far this season, Hansen has registered six goals and seven assists for 13 points, and 27 penalty minutes.
