Linden will be searching for a new GM to take over the team, and Feaster told the Vancouver Province that he'd be very interested in the position.
"I want to get back in," he said. "I wasn't ready to leave Calgary. There's only so many openings. I would be interested in reaching out to (the Canucks)."
Feaster, 51, was let go as GM of the Flames earlier this season, and was also the GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning for several years, guiding them to a Stanley Cup championship in 2004.
In Tampa, Feaster worked with head coach John Tortorella, the current bench boss of the Canucks.
"I love him," Feaster said of Tortorella. "I really do think he's a great coach. I would relish the opportunity to work with Torts again. I consider him a friend."
