Vancouver Canucks forward Mason Raymond has signed an 11-game contract with Orebro HK of Sweden's second highest league, HockeyAllsvenskan.
Raymond, 27, registered 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points in 55 games with the Canucks last season.
He becomes the third member of the Canucks to sign overseas during the NHL lockout, joining forward Jannik Hansen, who signed Tappara of Finland's SM-Liiga, and goalie Cory Schneider, who inked a deal with HC Ambri-Piotta of the Swiss National A League.
Raymond will play his first game on January 3, and will spend the rest of the month in Sweden, if the lockout runs that long.
It's unclear what Raymond will do after January, if the lockout wipes out the entire NHL regular-season.
If the season if cancelled, several other members of the Canucks will jump to European leagues, including Daniel and Henrik Sedin.
