Ohlund, Sedins mum on future

TheFourthPeriod.com

Canucks stars Daniel and Henrik Sedin and Mattias Ohlund say it's too early to think about where the might be playing next season, reports the Vancouver Province.

After being eliminated from Round 2 of the playoffs last night, much of the Canucks' focus will shift to whether or not they'll re-sign Ohlund and the Sedin twins.

Ohlund and the Sedins can become unrestricted free agents July 1.

According to various reports, the Canucks are not likely to re-sign Ohlund, while the future of the Sedins is up in the air.

"I don't know," Henrik told the Province. "It's nothing you want to think about right now. We have a great group. We showed it all year. We battled really, really hard."

All three players would be interested in returning to Vancouver, though some suggest they'll weigh their options once the free agent market opens.

"There's plenty of time to figure that out," Ohlund told the paper.

The Canucks will also have to decide what they plan on doing with star center Mats Sundin, who also becomes a UFA this summer.
