Sundin saga continues to drag on TheFourthPeriod.com
For those still keeping a close eye on where Mats Sundin might end up playing next season, the Vancouver Province suggests it's anybody's guess.
Swedish-based reporters believe Sundin could end up with the New York Rangers, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, or retire.
Not entirely insightful.
However, Mats Dahlberg, a Canuck European scout from 1985-94 now working for Swedish radio, told the Province he expects Sundin to play.
"His heart says Toronto," said Dahlberg. "If it's about the money, it's Vancouver. Montreal is too close to Toronto. I think it's Toronto or Vancouver, but he's going to play."
While it remains extremely unclear where Sundin will end up, sources told TFP a decision will be made by the end of the month, in preparation for training camp in September – should he decide to play.
