Komarov plans on returning to NHL
TheFourthPeriod.com

Forward Leo Komarov won't be suiting up for the Toronto Maple Leafs this coming season, but that doesn't mean the 26-year-old is finished with the NHL.

Komarov, who will be playing for Dynamo Moscow of the KHL in 2013-14, told Soviet Sports he plans on exploring his options after the season.

"I am not finished with the NHL," Komarov told sovsport.ru. "I want to go back there. After this season, I'm a free agent."

Komarov admitted that negotiations with the Leafs did not go well, and the only KHL club he had spoken with was Dynamo Moscow.

"There was a serious disagreement in negotiations," he said. "The club didn't meet my conditions."

In 42 games with the Leafs last season, Komarov registered four goals and five assists for nine points, and 18 penalty minutes.
