Clarkson, 29, became an unrestricted free agent last night and spoke with several teams earlier this week.
In 48 games with the Devils this past season, Clarkson registered 15 goals and nine assists for 24 points, along with 78 penalty minutes.
The Toronto native has played in 426 career NHL regular-season games, all with the Devils, and has accumulated 97 goals and 73 assists for 170 points, and 770 penalty minutes.
Bozak, 27, skated in 46 games with the Leafs this past season, registering 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points.
Bozak has been the Leafs' top-line center for the last two seasons. His best year came in 2011-12 when he collected 18 goals and 29 assists for 47 points in 73 games.
