Leafs re-sign forward Kulemin

The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed restricted free agent forward Nikolai Kulemin to a two-year contract worth $4.7 million.

Kulemin, 23, appeared in 78 games with the Maple Leafs last season, collecting 16 goals, 20 assists and 16 penalty minutes.

In 151 career NHL games with Toronto, Kulemin has recorded 67 points (31 goals, 36 assists) and 34 penalty minutes.

The native of Magnitogorsk, Russia was selected by the Maple Leafs in the second round, 44th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
