Ponikarosvky ready for trade

Maple Leafs winger Alexei Ponikarovsky is prepared for the upcoming trade deadline and knows there's a good chance he'll be on the move, the Toronto Sun reports.
Ponikarovsky, 29, is in the final year of his contract and can become an unrestricted free agent July 1. He's notched 19 goals and 22 assists in 60 games so far this season.
"Yeah, I'm prepared," he told the Sun. "You are always ready for something to happen. I know that. If management decides to move me, I will respect than and move on."
The Los Angeles Kings, Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins are among the teams reportedly interested in Ponikarovsky. The Maple Leafs had a scout in Los Angeles for last night's game at the Staples Center.
According to the Sun, the Maple Leafs are looking to acquire a high draft pick, likely a second-round selection, and a player for Ponikarovsky.
