Kaberle wants to stay in Toronto
TheFourthPeriod.com

Despite all the trade rumors surrounding him these days, Maple Leafs defenseman Tomas Kaberle's mindset hasn't changed, he wants to stay, reports the Toronto Sun.

Kaberle has a no-trade clause and would have to approve any deal the Leafs make.

"We have not been approached at all," agent Rick Curran told the Sun.

"Tomas has made his decision to remain a Leaf and his feelings have not changed. He is just as frustrated as the other players and, if anything, he is even more anxious to get it turned around."

It's been widely reported that the Leafs have been discussing a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks involving Kaberle and possibly Patrick Sharp and Kris Versteeg.

Leafs GM Brian Burke quickly denied the report, telling the Sun it has "no legs."

"We have never discussed Kaberle," Burke said.
