Drouin has since left the Lightning organization and is waiting for the team to move him.
However, according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN and ESPN, the Bolts could hang on to Drouin if they don't feel the right offer comes their way.
"I don't think that's the way Yzerman is looking at it," LeBrun said, referring to forcing a trade just because the trade deadline is 11 days away. "He will trade Jonathan Drouin when, if, and only he gets the deal that he feels measures to the value of Jonathan Drouin. That could be in the next 11 days, that could be in the summer."
Several teams have expressed interest in Drouin, including the Montreal Canadiens, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks, among others.
