The Tampa Bay Lightning appear to be fairly active today as the free agent doors open at noon ET, the St. Petersburg Times reports.
Lightning GM Brian Lawton is expected to pursue a backup goalie, a solid defenseman and a top-six forward.
According to the Times, the Bolts will go after Detroit Red Wings goalie Ty Conklin and Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Matt Walker, while Carolina Hurricanes blueliner Dennis Seidenberg might also be a target.
Conklin made $750,000 with the Wings last season and could see his salary climb over the $1 million mark.
