Lightning waiting on Rolston's answer

TheFourthPeriod.com

The Tampa Bay Lightning will know later this morning if Brian Rolston will be a part of their roster for the 2008-09 season.

Rolston has been presented with an offer that he appears interested in, TFP has learned, but will wait until the morning before giving the Lightning an answer.

The 35-year-old has been in touch with Tampa's new owners Len Barrie and Oren Koules, team captain Vincent Lecavalier, and newcomer Gary Roberts about the prospect of signing with the Lightning.

Rolston is believed to be looking for a multi-year deal worth around $3.5 million to $4 million per season.
