Blues getting calls on Perron

A number of teams have shown an interest in St. Louis Blues left wing David Perron and the youngster could be moved by the end of the NHL Draft.

The Blues are believed to be in the market for a top-line center and could be dangling Perron as trade bait.

Perron, 25, tallied 10 goals and 15 assists for 25 points in 48 games with the Blues this past season.

The Ottawa Senators, Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars, Florida Panthers and New York Rangers are all looking to acquire a top-six forward, and some of them could target Perron.

Drafted 26th overall by the Blues in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Perron has played in 340 career NHL regular-season games and has accumulated 84 goals and 114 assists for 198 points.
