Blues sign Berglund to 1-year deal

The St. Louis Blues have agreed to terms with center Patrik Berglund on a one-year, $3.25 million contract.

Berglund, 25, dressed in all 48 Blues' games this past season, registering 17 goals and eight assists for 25 points.

He also led the NHL in shooting percentage with a 23 percent success rate.

Since entering the NHL in 2008, Berglund ranks ninth among all Swedish-born players with 188 points and ranks eighth with 92 goals.

Over five NHL seasons, Berglund has accumulated 92 goals and 96 assists for 188 points to go along with 100 penalty minutes.

The Vesteras, Sweden native was originally drafted 25th overall by the Blues in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
