Blues considering trade to boost roster
TheFourthPeriod.com

With plenty of cap space to make necessary moves, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch wonders if the Blues' recent struggles will push GM Doug Armstrong to shop around the trade market to ensure his team remains a Cup contender.

TFP Editor-in-Chief David Pagnotta first reported that Armstrong attended the Toronto Maple Leafs home game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday and the rumor mill has since been spinning more quickly about potential moves to jolt the team.

However, the Blues would most likely be shopping for another veteran netminder seeing that Jaroslav Halak's nagging groin injury is delaying his return to action and Brian Elliott has been struggling as of late.

If the Blues can't get back on track, Armstrong may be pressured to seriously look at the trade market for immediate help.
