The St. Louis Blues have re-signed unrestricted free agent forward Jamie Langenbrunner to a one-year contract.

"We are excited that Jamie has agreed to stay in St. Louis," said Blues GM Doug Armstrong. "His professionalism and leadership both on and off the ice are invaluable assets for our club."

Langenbrunner, 36, tallied six goals and 18 assists for 24 points in 70 appearances with the Blues last season including his 1,100th NHL game on Mar. 27 against Nashville.

Over 17 NHL seasons, the two-time Stanley Cup champion has appeared in 1,105 games, amassing 243 goals and 419 assists for 662 points, along with 837 penalty minutes.

The Cloquet, Minnesota native was drafted by Dallas in the second round, 35th overall, of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.
