Blues head coach in hot water?
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Ottawa Sun hints St. Louis Blues head coach Andy Murray could be at risk of losing his job as a number of questions surround his team's poor play.

The Blues were expected to compete for a playoff spot this season, and despite 58 games left on the table, St. Louis sits in 12th spot.

The Sun suggests former Atlanta Thrashers head coach Bob Hartley could come in as a replacement if the Blues decide to drop the hammer.

The Blues are still very much in the playoff hunt, so there's no sense of urgency here. The team hasn't been able to score, and that's their biggest problem. Defenseman Erik Johnson is their leading scorer with 17 points. Outside of David Perron, nobody has more than 6 goals. That's a big problem, and something Murray is trying to fix. The Blues are looking for outside scoring help, but it's very difficult to make a large trade at this point in the season. -- David Pagnotta
