Sharks extend coach McLellan's contract
TheFourthPeriod.com

The San Jose Sharks have extended the contract of head coach Todd McLellan, according to TSN.ca.

McLellan, 45, was originally named head coach of the Sharks on June 12, 2008.

Since taking over before San Jose's bench, McLellan has posted a 220-108-48 record, in which he guided the Sharks to a Presidents' Trophy (2009) and three Pacific Division titles.

The Sharks have yet to confirm the signing, but that is expected to be made in the coming days.
